I live an intentionally unconventional life in North Texas with my husband, 8 year old daughter, and elderly yellow lab. Although my background is in public education I felt the pull to stay at home after our daughter was born and embraced the role of modern home maker. It seems my life is a case study in proving that home is where the heart is: you’re just as likely to find me in the middle of a national forest as you are baking in my kitchen. Given our strong sense of wanderlust, among many other reasons, home education suits our family well. Our life is certainly eclectic but my faith, family, and a steady peaceful rhythm are at the heart of all I do and strive toward.
